Translating the body matrix to kibbe is not as simple as, say, narrow long straight = dramatic as there are 27 matrix types and 10 kibbe IDs. I created the body matrix seeing that there was’t a body type system which accounted for the body types I saw in my one-on-one consultations everyday, and I decided to fill the gaps I saw elsewhere. With that said, I think finding comparisons between the two can help us to understand each system a little better

You might find some body matrix types in more than one kibbe category - this is because I think (despite Kibbe’s official instructions) that the IDs tend to incorporate essence, so your ID is built off body + face. I have come to this conclusion by assessing the verified celebrities and makeovers.
