😄 How to define your features

Step 1: do a line drawing of your face using procreate

Separate your face from the lines to help you get objective from your features

Step 2: define your features + describe the shapes you see

  • key words

    • round - circular

    • almond - almost flat and pointed

    • sharp - straight line, usually thin - like a razor edge. Can also be pointed as opposed to coming to a flat line.

    • soft - round line, or no sharp lines

    • blunt - flat, wide

    • large/small - we can say out of proportion with the rest of the face; either it’s larger or smaller than average

    • wide vs narrow - out of proportion with the rest of the face; either it’s wider or more narrow than average

Describe the different elements of your facial features. After you have gone through each element, take a second to look at your answers and see which ones come up the most often.

  • overall face shape - oval/rectangle/oblong/diamond/square/round/egg

  • forehead - high/low? round/square? medium?

  • jawline - wide/narrow? straight/round? sharp/blunt (squarish or more pointed?)

  • chin - round/pointed/flat/cleft?

  • eyes - large/small? wide set/ closed set? almond or round?

  • cheekbones - high/low? taut/ round?

  • nose - straight/soft? blunt? bumped? large/small? wide or narrow?

  • lips - almond/round? large/small?

  • teeth - small/large?
