I would love your opinion on round outerwear. It seems like most jackets/coats are meant to keep out the weather and therefore are made of thick stiff fabrics. Since I got your book I’ve been on the hunt for good round jackets but I can’t really find anything that is draped or soft except cardigans/knitwear.

Is there a particular style that you would recommend?

Well, that finally clears it up: I'm round!

I'm sharing a few thoughts here in case they help anyone:

I like tailored garments and find I can wear stiffer fabrics if they're cut right. Princess cuts and darts are ideal for following the body's shape in shirts or vests (I love vests!). I also like to create a bit of contrast with V-necks. I think they look better on me than round ones. I'm somewhere between medium and wide, meaning my shoulders are quite athletic, and complete roundness in necklines and shapes would go against that, IMO.
