Thank you for the post! Quick note that there was a mixup in the “Chunky footwear” section

I feel like I have a wide body and one thing that I would add is that I’ve noticed trends lately where a top will have the open necklines BUT accompanied by puffy sleeves. Think of the cutesie cottage-core style crop tops. And while it seems like a good option with the open neckline, I’ve found that it tends to add even more width and ends up creating the opposite effect and makes the body look more severe or stiff 😭 I think open necklines with loose flowy sleeves is key.

Great post! How do you combine the recommendations for width with recommendations for short and medium/round? I have an athletic, blunt look but I'm also 5"0 with some curve, perhaps medium or round, so waist definition and smaller, wrapped or tight fitting fabrics around the torso look good. I have to size up for shoulders, but then nothing fits my small waist. How can I combine this with the draped, wide lines recommended for width? If I dress in large/draped/hanging fabrics I look like a child, which is fun when I'm playing into deliberately oversized (which I love), but less fun when absolutely nothing in the shops fits you and you're trying to be somewhat adult-looking...! Any tips would be appreciated.
